Maya Mayhem

So recently she has taken to wearing her swimsuit around the house. It is still very winter here. At first she called it her 'space suit', I did correct her and now she says swimsuit, but I wish I would not have corrected her. Space suit made me laugh.

Maya has quoted her first movie. She loves loves loves the movie Cars. She says 'I'm not a Mack, I Peterbilt' and I love it :)

A couple of weeks ago I said 'oopsiedasiey' to Maya. I don't even know why I said it. Shortly after that she said 'oopsiegoofy' and 'oopsiemickey.'

Just as I thought...

I was afraid I would not keep up with this blog. I will try a little harder. I do want to keep track of the funny things that Maya does or says.

Maya Mayhem

On Thanksgiving we went to my Aunt's house for lunch and to celebrate. My aunt has these 2 wonderful old pots sitting at the start of her walk way. They have been there for years. Maya runs right to them and declares "Honey pots!!" She is obsessed with everything "Tigger and Pooh bear."

Today is the day.

The US elects a new President. I am nervous now, waiting for results. Will the guy that I voted for win? Will life here in the US change? Will I get new taxes? What I do think is soooo important is that everyone who is eligible should vote, no excuses your vote does matter!!
I voted today and I am grateful for the chance to vote :)

Last night she learned to say cockadoodledo... like a rooster, but she says cocka-do-do.

In the bath last night, I was singing to her and all of a sudden I got a bowl full of water in my face... I was so shocked I just started laughing! I guess she did not like my singing ;)

Welcome

Greetings. I am starting a blog mostly to follow the life of my delightful daughter, Maya. I am not really a writer so this is big task for me. I want a place to unload my thoughts and keep track of things I do not want to forget. Thanks for looking... hope you enjoy the ride.
